</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Love cats but can't have one where you live? Here's an interesting idea! This Cat Cafe pictured, is in Osaka Japan, and for Six hundred yen (about $5) you get all the cats you can pet for an hour. Upon entering the Cafe, you are sprayed with disinfectant and given slippers to put on.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div style="text-align: center;"><img alt="http://flushrush.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/cafe.jpg" src="http://flushrush.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/cafe.jpg" style="border-bottom-color: rgb(225, 119, 30); border-bottom-style: none; border-left-color: rgb(225, 119, 30); border-left-style: none; border-right-color: rgb(225, 119, 30); border-right-style: none; border-top-color: rgb(225, 119, 30); border-top-style: none; border-width: initial; padding-bottom: 10px; padding-left: 10px; padding-right: 10px; padding-top: 10px;" /><br />
</div>The "Cafe" is divided into two areas. One actually looks like a cafe where you sit at a table with your coffee, tea, pastries or whatever whilest the feline of your choice sits on your lap, keeping you company. The other room is where you go just to pet the cats. You can even buy tuna to entice the aloof kitties into paying YOU some attention and letting you pet them. It seems like a great idea for people in apartments where they aren't allowed pets - but to me, it sounds a little bizarre. However, just like everything else in Japan, I'm sure Cat Cafe's will soon catch on in America.<br />

They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength. The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape... In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the floor.<br /><br />Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a "good little hunter" I am.<br /><br />The audacity! There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.<br /><br />Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.<br /><br />I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released --and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded! The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicating with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. The captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe.......for now.<br /><br />via <span style="font-size:85%;"><a style="font-style: italic;" href="http://www.blogger.com/Excerpts%20from%20a%20Dog%27s%20Daily%20Diary">dysan.net</a></span><br /><br /><br /><script src="%22http://feeds.feedburner.com/%7Es/TheCoolPet?i=%22%20+%20data:post.url" type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"></script>wendy presseisenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09369257851725680545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4117298461531960087.post-29868090275710657072008-09-05T19:44:00.004-05:002008-09-08T14:32:33.888-05:00dogcat radio - easy listening for your pampered pet<div style="text-align: center;"><img style="width: 477px; height: 609px;" src="http://www.betterphoto.com/uploads/processed/0802/0801070631131img_0427d.jpg" /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /><br />Theres a new radio station in town and its just for your <a href="http://dogcatradio.com/">cat and dog</a>. It is available in a host of materials, from this great looking cherry veneer pictured, to maple, aluminum and even eco-friendly bamboo.<br /></div> <div> </div> <div><br /><br />Oh and while your checking this cool dog bed out, check out the rest of the Vurve pet line at Feel More Human, like this WoWo single pet feeder<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-3068227-527533826"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 200px;" src="http://shop.feelmorehuman.com/images/product/medium/5411.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /></div></div> <div> </div>wendy presseisenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09369257851725680545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4117298461531960087.post-7674648363599673502008-09-02T19:53:00.001-05:002008-09-02T19:56:04.794-05:00people food goes to the dogsI was in Walmart the other day in the pet food section picking up some Iams Biscuits for Pops<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjMEEbBOuXM29Fc3iSK4fBlhNmkqXT7tO4oxM5Ri4NKWbARTPeiVicsR3J3PWiT5BwUGZV4QncAdwZOhAdLkr3hiHKquKZx77hQV96brlKRVe_S28AVqXUUeuOTwHaue18znEmd6UAhlrt/s1600-h/popsta.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjMEEbBOuXM29Fc3iSK4fBlhNmkqXT7tO4oxM5Ri4NKWbARTPeiVicsR3J3PWiT5BwUGZV4QncAdwZOhAdLkr3hiHKquKZx77hQV96brlKRVe_S28AVqXUUeuOTwHaue18znEmd6UAhlrt/s200/popsta.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5227006629519736306" border="0" /></a> when I stumbled upon an end cap loaded with Rachael Ray's new line, you guessed it, DOG FOOD. And to top it off a portion of the proceeds from her pet food line go to her charity. Yup, shes got one of those too! Activia like yogurt for the pooch in your life. With some of the bizarre things I find my Poppy Petunia eating (and the remnants I've found under my bed), this may be just the thing for her little churning inerds!<br /> <a href="http://yoghund.com/products/index.php" target="blank"><img src="http://yoghund.com/images/photos/home_img.jpg" alt="yöghund" border="0" height="400" width="470" /></a><br /><br /><div style="text-align: justify;"><p></p><blockquote><p>The<a href="http://yoghund.com/" target="_blank"> Yöghund </a>could be called the dog version of the Activia yogurt marketing to people. The dog yogurt does not have any sugar and was first made in a peanut butter and banana flavor. “We actually create a true yogurt, we ferment it,” she said. “We’ve tried to find things dogs like, plus they have a health benefit.”</p> <p>The yogurt contains probiotics and prebiotics that aid dogs’ digestion, strengthen the immune system and improve intestinal health. And the dogs lick it up like crazy. “The dogs think it’s fabulous,” Rodgers said. “If a dog is on antibiotics, it’s a great way to establish good flora in the intestines.”</p><p><br /></p></blockquote><p></p></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-style: italic;">from </span><a style="font-style: italic;" href="http://yoghund.com/" target="_blank"> Yöghund </a><span style="font-style: italic;">via </span><a style="font-style: italic;" href="http://dogblog.dogster.com/2008/09/02/will-it-be-peanut-butter-or-banana/" target="blank">dogblog.dogster.com</a><br /><br /><br /></span></div>wendy presseisenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09369257851725680545noreply@blogger.com34
